JudgePop Terms of Service

1. The service

JudgePop is a community service where people post everyday situations and view community verdicts through votes and comments. Community verdicts, rankings, and result reports are not legal judgments, factual determinations, medical, legal, or financial advice, or emergency reporting.

2. Accounts and eligibility

The consumer app supports Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in. A signed-out user may view public content but cannot post, vote, comment, report, or receive rewards. Users must protect their account and device and provide accurate information.

Do not use the service without lawful guardian consent if the law where you live requires that consent for your age.

3. User content

Users must have the rights and permissions needed for posts, comments, photos, videos, YouTube links, votes, and reports. Users permit JudgePop to process content as needed to provide and display the service, support sharing, review reports, take safety action, aggregate verdicts, and preserve community context.

Photos and videos generally have no rank-based expiration. After staff review, some or all content may be removed when participation is too low for a valid result, a post is invalid, or it violates the rules.

Before posting material that reveals another person's private messages, face, school, workplace, location, or personal information, confirm that you have a lawful basis and permission.

4. Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Exposing personal information, impersonation, harassment, hate or discrimination, threats, and sexual harassment
  • Encouraging self-harm, violence, or illegal conduct, fraud, spam, and copyright infringement
  • Multiple-account abuse, automation, vote, XP, reward, or ranking manipulation, and false reports
  • Circumventing service security, abnormal bulk requests, and access to another user's account

5. Votes, XP, and rankings

A verdict reflects participating users and is not a representative opinion poll. XP, levels, ranks, Pop rewards, and seasonal titles are service records and have no cash or property value. We may hold or correct records affected by abuse or error.

6. YouTube and advertising

YouTube-source posts use the YouTube embedded player and an attribution link, and are also subject to YouTube's terms and policies. A video may become unavailable in JudgePop if the source is removed, made private, or restricted.

When advertising is enabled, it is identified separately from ordinary content. A provider's terms and privacy policy may also apply when you use an advertisement or external service.

7. Reports and moderation

Based on reports, policy violations, abuse detection, and staff review, JudgePop may issue a warning, hide or remove content, restrict features, or temporarily or permanently suspend an account. A report count alone does not determine permanent suspension; context, evidence, repetition, and risk are reviewed.

Appeals may be submitted through in-app support or [email protected].

8. Account deletion

Users can request deletion in app settings. The account is restricted and directly identifying information enters deletion, anonymization, or access-restriction processing. Posts, comments, votes, and safety records needed for community integrity and abuse response may remain with author identification minimized.

JudgePop access can also be reviewed or revoked separately in Apple or Google account settings.

9. Service changes and responsibility

JudgePop may change or discontinue features for security, legal obligations, reliability, or improvement. We do not guarantee the accuracy or legality of user content or external links. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and contact

Material changes are announced in the app or on the web before they apply, and renewed consent is requested when required. Contact [email protected] about the service or these terms.
