JudgePop Community Guidelines
- Version: v1.1
- Effective: July 12, 2026
- Safety contact: [email protected]
1. Core principle
Describe a situation in a way you could say directly to the people involved, and judge conduct and choices rather than a person's worth. Respect different cultures, languages, and experiences. A community verdict is not a legal judgment or factual determination.
2. Privacy and private communications
Do not expose a real name, contact details, address, school, workplace, license plate, account ID, identity document, financial or medical information, or precise location. Do not publish private messages, calls, photos, or videos without permission or encourage others to locate and attack a person.
3. Harassment, hate, and threats
Repeated insults, coordinated attacks, threats, sexual objectification, and stalking are prohibited. Do not demean or incite exclusion based on race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, illness, age, or another protected characteristic.
4. Safety and illegal conduct
Do not encourage self-harm or suicide or provide specific instructions. Do not promote or trade violence, crime, fraud, dangerous challenges, illegal drugs, voyeuristic material, or sexual exploitation. Contact the appropriate local emergency service instead of waiting for a JudgePop vote when danger is immediate.
5. Sexual content and minors
Any sexualization of a minor is prohibited. Non-consensual intimate imagery, explicit sexual acts, sexual threats, and exploitation are not allowed. Do not post a minor's face, school, contact information, or sensitive circumstances.
6. Photos, videos, and YouTube
Post only photos, videos, and YouTube links that you own or have permission to use. Before upload, obscure faces, documents, screen notifications, location metadata, and other identifying information. Fabricated evidence, misleading edits, and harmful deepfakes may be restricted.
A YouTube video is unavailable in JudgePop if its source is removed, made private, or restricted from playback.
7. Authenticity, spam, and manipulation
Repeated duplicate posts, irrelevant promotion, phishing, impersonation, and fraud are prohibited. Do not use automation, multiple accounts, or rewards to manipulate votes, comments, XP, rankings, or reports.
8. Reports, blocks, and appeals
You can report a post, comment, or user and can block or mute a user. Reports must be specific and submitted in good faith; do not abuse reporting merely because you disagree.
Depending on severity, repetition, context, and risk, JudgePop may issue a warning, hide or remove content, restrict features, suspend an account temporarily or permanently, or correct abusive rewards. Appeals may be submitted through in-app support or [email protected].
